HEALERS IN WHITE
A Tribute on
Doctor’s Day
Healers in white, held in esteem everywhere,
Their years of sacrifice beyond compare.
The hard-earned prefix, a story within,
A boiled egg’s struggle beneath their skin.
The path they tread is a steep, rocky climb,
A bitter pill swallowed time after time.
Learning is hard, with obstacles high,
Risks in each step as they reach for the sky.
Sleepless nights burning midnight oil,
Their knowledge alone is no easy spoil.
Practice demands both skill and art,
Hard-earned wisdom, a compassionate heart.
Degrees may be won, but respect is earned,
True fame is arduous, slowly learned.
Medical schools stand in brick and stone,
But it’s their pupils who make them known.
They bring laurels and lasting fame,
Giving teachers an immortal name.
Doctors lift nations with healing hands,
Deserving our salute, where respect stands.
Wishing a Worthy Doctor’s Day 2025
