THE GIFT FROM A NEW BORN
World is so huge, that none can learn everything under the sun
From the media and surfing
and from everything you hear too
Knowledge is so huge that
never be tired of learning, its all fun,
All good things have a small
beginning, indeed a new born too.
Observe a newborn’s facial
movements, in sleep and in play,
For sure, will be amazed, the
beauty and thrill, hearts do fill,
Wrinkles and curves, our
adrenals in ecstasy and overplay,
Never tires in watch, the smiles,
the cooing, screams in full.
World is narrow, when the
watch is on, we forget the surround.
Clocks tend to run faster,
child’s expressions too by the minute,
Twirls of the body, the
clutters of the limbs and brows around,
Fascinating spectacle, for
the bemused spectator every minute.
May this charm outweigh the
struggles it suffers within the self
The colostrum, the sucking
reflex, the feeds, the sleep and all,
Learning may be guided by a
divine power, not tutored by pelf,
Cocci, bacilli all queue up in wait, besides the
protection overallOutliving all such missiles of onslaughts, sauntered its progress,
Twelve
months of real hardship, combating all these monsters
Sports
an innocent smile, worth watching even under duress,
Longing
togetherness for hours, the real charm for posters.
Toddlers,
a different breed, excitement all around for the eyes,
Cry,
the trump card language and the noisy message alarm,
The
sighs, the brows and the facial muscles show their ways,
Mesmerizing
the bemused parents, oldies rejoicing the charm.
The
childhood irresistible in amusement, throws the message,
Playing
with them, the best antidote for many an ailment,
Assuages
many a troubled moment, Oh! remember the adage,
“The child is the father of man”, indeed an apt statement.
