CARIES OF THE MIND….A TEETHING PROBLEM
Habits seldom die, they say, no one heeds to this golden say,
Remove one letter from it, a bit remains, wait just a minute,
Scrap the next letter, it still remains truly following your
way,
Pay a hefty price for,
our ignorance, negligence oft in pursuit,
Apart from hairs, our benign teeth head the list
in numbers,
Thirty plus two, their numbers at times show more resilience,
Care we give them daily barely exceeds few hundred seconds
Dentine falls prey to culinary insults, an entry made in
silence,
So too bad habits make silent entry within us, just to
surmise.
Creeping within us, sans permission, some good, often bad,
Growing, affecting or
effecting thy repute to size or capsize,
The will to thrive or profligate do define our future instead.
Feeling the pain, we oft spot the caries, so too dent our
name
Cavity or the dent to our psyche will decay tooth or our
image,
Restoration awesome, all
painstaking and never be the same,
Character too a delicate one, a few only remember this adage.
Easy to scrabble , difficult to practice, so pains without
gains,
The caries once go deep, tooth now becomes no more vital,
Worries more than help, so too habits casting lasting stains,
Pluck them off, tooth or habits, the laurels wait in your
citadel
